Umbrellas and trees share several similarities–The shape and the ability to shade people. RainSprouts uses a small trunk as a motif and is shaped with 2 branches sprouting out. Following the ‘tree’ theme, I thought it would be fun to see the action of opening an umbrella as ‘sprouting’, feeding on the rainwater to grow–Which is why I named the umbrella RainSprouts 傘と木は幾つかの共通点がある。形や人を太陽などから守ること。 Rainsproutsの形は幹をモチーフにし、枝が二本生えているような形である。 傘を開く行動はテーマに沿い、「芽生える」として見てもいいのではないか？ と思ったので「Rainsprouts（雨芽生え）」と言う少しい遊心のある名前をつけた。
